Having started as a bedroom studio project for Tom Rees in 2016, he soon employed the help of his brother Eddie Rees, Ethan Hurst and Zac White to create this quartet and champion a 70s rock sound. Hailing from Wales, they perform a wild live show, conjuring the ghosts of rock ‘n’ roll past. Taking inspiration from Cream and John Lennon, they debuted their raw sound on “Late Night City” in 2019.
Bring out the denim flares, bright orange carpets and lava lamps, because their new single is erupting with vintage glam-rock vibes. Taken from their upcoming debut album “Backhand Deals”, expected on February 25th, it starts Lennon-esque calm, before an insatiable percussion and rolling rock guitars burst to life. Enriched with a touch of britpop modernity, this groove is a savory sonic pastiche.
