In The Spotlight

Nicki French – “Steal The Crown”

Born in Carlisle, this British songbird and actress extensively performed on the club circuit, before she rocketed to stardom with her version of Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” in 1995. Several hit singles on, she represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000. Her last single “Teardrops (On The Disco Floor)” reached the top spot of the iTunes Vocal Chart in 2017.

Hang the glitterball in the throne room, ’cause with her latest single she is claiming her rightful place as disco royalty. Dipped in vintage Studio 54 vibes, the infectious beats, lush violins and indulgent synths soak the song in sumptuous 70s grooves and with her fierce vocals being the jewel in the crown, she is ready for her coronation on this delicious disco spectacular in all its retro majesty.
