Emma Hern – “Love Is Killing Me”

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, this thrilling retro rock and soul diva is an electrifying tour-de-force. She moved to music capital Nashville after graduating from Boston’s Berklee College Of Music, in order to broaden her musical realm. With an exhilarating sound dipped in late 60s and early 70s rock, blues and soul, she brought her creative vision to life with a commanding, yet stylish flamboyance.

Coated in a layer of contemporary production, her debut single takes those vintage pop/rock tones and turns them into a dynamic dose of retro charm. Bridging the decades, her fiery, soul-soaked, powerhouse vocals soar over a high-spirited melodious feast of vivacious rhythms and exuberant horns, making it an auditory spectacular of scintillant bubblegum pop/rock with a bit of a soulful bite.

Orla Gartland – “I Go Crazy”

This 23-year young Irish rose is a singer and songwriter who has been playing music since she was 5 and started taking guitar lessons aged 12. Influenced by legends such as Joni Mitchell and Imogen Heap, she creates a folk pop sound which is uniquely hers. Initially posting videos online, she’s opened for Kodaline and Gabrielle Aplin and released her debut single “Devil On My Shoulder” in 2012.

With a distinct Stevie Nicks vibe poured into her own alt-pop style, her latest single takes you to the edge of her boundless musicality. Channeling the emotions of unrequited love, her impassioned vocals tell a poignant and relatable story. A pulsating beat drives the vitalizing guitar chords and rousing synths into a modern yet retro-tinged organic pop tune, which is invigorating and fresh.
