Elise Road – “Daisies”

Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, this soul sister started writing music which reflected her childhood. Drawing inspiration from the silky R&B ballads of Babyface and the Neo-Soul blues of Erykah Badu, her soothing vocals add a touch of jazzy soul to her signature sound. Compared to artists like Alicia Keys and Tori Kelly, she uses classic R&B & soul to create a lasting impression of hopeful optimism.

Instantly giving it a classic intro with a bit of a vinyl crackle over an acoustic piano and her velvety voice, her debut single is sizzling with an infectious R&B bounce. Joined by the perky percussion and radiant guitars, invoking the feeling of picnics in the park on sunny days, it’s her seductive, spine-tingling vocals that make this an irresistible and breathtaking piece of sunlit R&B heaven.

Mia Milla – “Sun”

With the vibrancy of her hometown Brighton running through her veins, this British singer and songwriter grew up in a household where music was always playing. She started singing at a young age, was a keen busker as a teenager and studied music at the University Of Brighton. Inspired by the likes of Eva Cassidy, KT Tunstall and Norah Jones she started honing her sound and songwriting skills.

Opening with an easygoing, acoustic piano and her utterly enchanting jazzy voice, her new single manages to capture the beauty of a sunrise in musical form. Although singing about going through a rough patch, she leads the listener to the sunny rays on the other side. The smooth, ear-stroking melody is joined by some subtle percussion, blending together into a lavish array of sonic luminosity.
