Created around the multi-talented singer, composer and drummer Marlon Pichel, this Dutch four-piece band has been impressing audiences with their ingenious blend of soul, Motown, funk and jazz, all laced with a touch of pop. Having extensively performed live and opening for Dutch soul singer Giovanca, they released their album “Livin’ & Lovin'” in 2016, which was received with rave reviews.
Taken from their EP “The Boston Recordings”, their latest single takes their soul-dripping sound to new heights. By infusing the buttery-smooth funky bassline with some emotive blues, they laid the basis for an exhilarating musical experience. The howling rock guitar, blazing brass and the raw, passionate vocals add an unexpected edge to its summery feel, making it a refreshingly seductive gem.
