In The Spotlight

PEER – “Bird”

These four rockin’ Dutch teens from Middelburg got together as a band in 2014, won the Buma Music Academy Award and released their debut single “Change Me” all in that same year. Diving into the festival circuit, they played a multitude of major gigs and went on to win lots of competitions along the way and earning rave reviews with their dynamic indie-rock sound with a  britpop edge.

Creating the perfect soundtrack for enjoying the plentiful sunshine at the beach or on a roadtrip, their latest single epitomizes the essence of Summer fun. With a carefree, jolly feel, they dipped their indie-rock stylings in a pool of retro Britpop sounds. A happy rhythm, playful guitars, a highly infectious hook and some good-natured vocals form a happy-go-lucky jam, which feels deliciously joyous.
