Parlor Social – “Got The Heebie-Jeebies”

Fronted by husband and wife duo Dessy Di Lauro and Ric’key Pageot, this band is taking ragtime swing of the roaring 20s to new heights. Both no strangers to the music scene, Dessy has taken their Neo-Ragtime style on solo outings and Ric’key has worked with many legends such as Madonna and Cher. They’ve amazed live audiences all over the world with their unique Speakeasy Soul sound.

Released to coincide with Black Music Month, the second single from their upcoming album takes 20s ragtime and prohibition era jazz and dips it in an invigorating contemporary R&B. A spirited beat and sexy horns add a playful edge to this peppy tune full of vintage spice and modern zing. With zesty vocals teasing the melody, this is a fiery, Neo-Ragtime jive with a catchy, vivacious bounce.
