Spence – “Funk Party”

Born as Henk Braaf, this prolific Dutch singer, songwriter, musician and producer caught the music bug aged 8 when he learned to play guitar. Inspired by legends such as Herbie Hancock and Jimi Hendrix, he created his own style of funk guitar. His star started to shine in the 80s when, as well as composing a slew of hits for other artists, he took on his moniker and released his debut “Get It On” in 1983.

Returning after a 35 year hiatus, his new single proves that there is still no party like a funk party. Produced, composed and performed by himself, this is a spectacular funkalicious triumph. Complete with an infectious beat, sizzling wah-wah guitars and hot synths, it celebrates the beloved 80s funk sound. And with his sweet vocals adding a touch of soul, this is one party you don’t want to miss.
