Abby J Hall – “Tough Love”

Having started writing original songs since she was 11, this Canadian singer and songwriter knew from a young age where her heart lies. Proficient at guitar, keys and ukulele, she draws inspiration from artists like Taylor Swift, Julia Michaels and Maggie Rogers. She performed live at festivals such as The Sound Of Music in her home town of Burlington and debuted with her single “Busy” in 2017.

Reflecting on the feeling of loneliness despite being in a crowded digital space, her new single combines a multi-layered pop melody with relatable storytelling. First enchanting the listener with clever strings, crisp piano and fresh vocals in the verses, the track bursts to life in the vivacious chorus, which is as infectious as jubilant. It’s a bouncy, cheerful and honest jam you can’t help but love.
