Twin Peaks – “Dance Through It”

Formed in 2010, this five-piece rock band from Chicago has embraced change over the years, keeping their sound fresh and vibrant. Debuting with their album “Sunken” in 2013, they have evolved both musically as their live show performance, leading to an appearance on CONAN in 2016, playing festivals like Lollapalooza and Coachella and supporting Cage The Elephant and Wilco on their US tours.

Teasing the upcoming release of their new album “Lookout Low”, expected to drop on September 13, their new single introduces their groovy side. Starting with a mellow, slightly mysterious sounding bass, which will guide you through the song, it’s the sunny, easy-going vibe from the percussion and Cadien Lake James’ vocals which will hug your ears, while the funky brass makes you want to dance.

Delena – “One Night”

Born in Kiev, this Ukrainian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist spent her childhood singing traditional Ukrainian ballads and jazz alongside her pianist father. Deciding on a more modern electro pop path, she moved to London to attend the Institute Of Contemporary Music. Inspired by legends like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Adele, she released her self-titled debut EP early 2019.

Dipping her electro-pop stylings in bright, neon colored shades of the 80s, her new single is a slick, multi-layered powerhouse of pop. The vigorous beat, sparkling synths and a fierce, infectious chorus blend together into an auditory brew of retro and contemporary spirit. Lyrically warning against one-night stands, the effervescent heat of her vocals add some attitude to this anthemic pop jam.
