In The Spotlight

WAYI – “Fallin’ For You”

Growing up in a garden of gospel, this Belgian songstress discovered the budding seed of velvety R&B when she sang in her school choir aged 11. Nurtured by the sounds of Alicia Keys and fed by covering her favorite acts, she saw her seed flower into writing her own delicate lyrics. She lent her voice to tracks by TheColorGrey and K1D and debuted her own aural bouquet “The Way I Am” in 2018.

Taken from her debut EP “Love In Progress”, this song flourishes with both R&B as pop colors sprouting, ready to bloom. A catchy rhythm and electronic keys give it some summery sunshine, while her cool, enchanting vocal artistry provides necessary irrigation and makes the song truly come alive. Blossoming into a breathtaking sonic display, it’s easy to fall for this efflorescent auditory gem.
